MK-293 for cutting vs bulking — what's more effective?

I’ve been reading up on MK-293 and trying to figure out if it’s better suited for cutting fat or building mass. The info out there is kinda split. Some guys claim it’s amazing for bulking due to strength gains and appetite increase, while others say it helps with lean muscle retention during a cut. I’m currently in the middle of a recomp and wondering how this compound actually behaves in real use. Anyone here with firsthand experience?

Hey, solid question. I’ve actually run MK-293 twice — once during a lean bulk and once on a cut. For me, it leaned more toward being a cutting aid. While it does boost strength, I noticed that the most impressive effect was how it helped preserve muscle even with a big calorie deficit. During my last cut, I was down about 900 kcal/day, cardio 5x/week, and still held onto strength numbers in compound lifts. That never happens for me normally. Also, my muscles looked way fuller than usual — not flat like they usually do when dieting. That said, I’ve heard some guys use it to support bulking too, especially when they don’t want to bloat up. If you're curious about what exactly it does and how it works, I found this page super helpful: https://www.fmbrew.com/wp-content/pgs/mk_293.html. Definitely worth a look if you're planning to try it soon.
